The Boleside Shrimp was the fly that caught that monstrous salmon for Mr Jennings owner of the Boleside Beat on the Tweed in Autumn 2013.  I have tied a similar pattern on singles for anglers in the Borders and they have caught up to 50 Salmon each year on a single hook version of this pattern.
The Boleside Shrimp is a mix of a standard Pot Belly Pig and a snaelda.  The Ghillie Nigel Fell swears by these flies, they are hard to find tied to his original pattern.
